Using outside resources, prepare a statement as to why you chose the particular population/issue and
why this warrants special attention /assistance. MY TOPIC IS WOMEN WAGES AND FINANCIAL LITERACY.
Then using the web, outside resources, word of mouth identify an organization that provides services or
addresses the needs of the population you have identified. Gather as much information as possible about
the organization and its work, history, services provided and volunteer opportunities. Its of particular
importance that your classmates are made aware of how they can become involved.
Create a presentation to be shown in class using a power point format. Describe what you found and
what you have gained from the project. Be creative with your presentations. Each presentation should
consist of 10-12 slides and last approximately 15-20 minutes.
Slides should address:

*Organizational work
*Opportunities for individual personal reactions
* References/Sources for Information
