Identify potentially useful sources on the topic/issue (to ensure in part that you will be able to find enough information on the topic/issue to do the assignment) 3.Write a 2-3 page (double spaced) paper. THIS IS CRITICAL! DONT FORGET THIS! Each paper should include the following: A brief introduction/explanation of the topic/issue which includes a basic description of the issue. Analysis of the ways in which geography may have influenced the issue. An analysis of why this issue came to the forefront in this realm. Who is impacted the most by this issue? What is being done about it? 4. Adequately and properly reference the information presented in your paper- cite your sources! Be sure to include in-text reference citations (APA format if possible, but be consistent), especially for statistical data, direct quotes, policy statement and historical descriptions.
