INTRODUCTION – A discussion of why the study is being done, the reasons it is being undertaken. Why the topic was chosen. The possible outcome of the study, why the study will be worthwhile.
OBJECTIVE – The question or questions to be answered. The main focus of the study, what you intend to accomplish. When the study is finished, the benefits that might accrue.
SCOPE – The length and breadth of the study, its metes and bounds. The time period during which the study was conducted and the time period for which the data was collected and evidence gathered.
WORK DONE/METHODOLOGY – What was done to answer the question, what data collection techniques were employed, how were the data and the evidence collected.
FINDINGS – What was found, what was the outcome. What was not readily observed before the study that is evident now. What new information emerged as a result of your efforts.
CONCLUSIONS – Your conclusions must be logical and fact-based and must flow from or be supported by the evidence/data/information collected during your research.
RECOMMENDATIONS – If any.
The paper formatting is to include 12pt Times New Roman font, 1” margins, pagination, dates, assignment identification, paragraphs, and a full line space between paragraphs.
The paper must also include an excel spreadsheet and where appropriate, graphs, and charts that illustrate the data and the information used in the research for the paper and the presentation.
