The Essay question is: What Factors led to the Tiananmen Square Protests, the crackdown, and the massacre that followed? What impact did the events of Tiananmen Square have on China and the world? The paper must be written in CHICAGO Format with footnotes. It must include: 1. a title page with the format: UNIVERSITY NAME / TITLE OF ESSAY / CLASS / BY / MY NAME / DATE 2. page numbers in top right corner with a header stating my last name (also in top right corner) – these are to be excluded from the title page only 3. one inch margins all around 4. Times New Roman 12 pt. font 5. citations throughout the essay 6. bibliography page Footnotes must include: author, book title, and page number; when citing a website or primary source, it should include the title of the source, date accessed etc. If you are citing the same source twice or more, the footnote should be shortened these guidelines are shown in the essay template that I have attached that the professor gave us to show how to set up the essay and what it should look like. The professor also gives some pointers and says, 1. address the essay prompt/question within the first few sentences; don’t use long, broad sentences.
