Let me tell you the story of John then explain to you what is the assignment. John is master’s student who did an internship this summer at Hyundai dealership as a sales associate. His role was Sales Associate in its Hyundai Dealership. His duty was to thoroughly explain aspects of buying to all customers utilizing up-to-date product and pricing information. Also, He evaluated the client’s needs, researching vehicles and financing options, assisting customers find products they need or showing them how to use them, and ringing up customer purchases on the POS register. He ensures the correct handling of all sales transactions by tracking and submitting all necessary documentation. He also followed up with customers after sales through direct phone calls to ensure they enjoyed the experience to retain them for future business. In the role, He was required to upgrade my knowledge of Hyundai products and services and keep professional and technical skills by attending auto shows and educational programs, establishing personal networks, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional societies. It’s crucial to be well informed about all the cars sold and be ready to answer questions about competitors, as well as the advantage and disadvantages of each model in terms of gas, usability, engine size, mileage, and colors. A year ago, John worked with a Foodstuff Company. His duty was to find the best vendors with the best offers. Negotiate terms with suppliers include prices, specifications, and the deadline. He reviews the purchasing contracts and monitors the quantity and quality of the material the supplier uses to make the final product and ensures compliance with all terms and conditions. Two years ago, John also worked as Cargo and Freight Coordinator. He was responsible for organizing the transportation and shipment of goods, starting from collecting packages from customers until the arrival of packages at the desired destination. Staying in constant contact with the carrier to avoid any obstruction in the process. He dealt with intensive data entry and filling documents in every shipment.
