At the bike shop, look around and take it all in! Take a deep breath and smell the bike tire rubber! What’s the layout of the store like? Take a look at the different bikes. Note the prices and configurations. Were you approached by a store representative? Is there a service department? Are there a lot of people in the store? What kind of people? What kind of accessories do they sell? What else sticks out to you?
use all of your senses and approach your visit with a spirit of curiosity!
After your visit, write and submit a summary and reflection about your experience. Include any salient observations, anecdotes, thoughts, and lingering questions. Would you consider a local bike shop for your next bike purchase? Why or why not (there are no right or wrong answers)?
