a) Strategy Report (40% of Assignment)
The strategy report must include sections for:
1) A description of the business including (but not limited to):
the major product lines,
the geographical spread
the market in which it operates
the vision and
the mission of the organisation (10 Marks)
2) A summary of the strengths and weakness, including the overall financial performance of the organisation (10 Marks)
3) A summary of the key opportunities and threats, including an analysis of Porters 5 forces (20 Marks)
Additional information regarding this section of the coursework:
o Maximum of 1,500 words (+/- 10%)
o Information should be sourced from the company and appropriate third parties.
o List of references: Provide a list of all the sources cited in the main body of the report, on a reference list to be placed at the end of the coursework. Harvard style of referencing must be used. There is no minimum or maximum number of references.
b) Strategy Map (20% of Assignment)
Create a one-page strategy map summarising the organization’s key objectives in each area of the balanced scorecard. Provide explanations to support your linkages and flow between objectives. (This will be instrumental in doing the last past part of this coursework).

1) A clear and well laid out strategy map (one page) (10 Marks)
2) Clear, well explained linkages to the strategy report as well as linkages/flow between the objectives. Provide explanations to support both. (10 Marks)
c) Balanced Scorecard (40% of Assignment)
Prepare a Balanced Scorecard based on the information above. The Balanced Scorecard should cover a strategic time frame suitable for the organisation. Explain the time frame that you have selected.
