Sociology is the systematic study of social interaction and human society. To make sense of the social world around us, C. Wright Mills explained that we must develop a Sociological Imagination. The Sociological Imagination is the view that peoples actions and attitudes are shaped by societal forces. In order to examine and understand our social worlds, we must be aware of our social context and social location.
