Essay should be typewritten using Times New Roman font 12 for the main text and should be 1.5 or double-spaced. 2) Your essay should be divided into two main sections (see the question). The marker will form a judgement about how well you have used literature in your essay. It is anticipated that essays will contain a minimum of 10 references to primary sources such as textbooks and journal articles as you are not likely to have covered enough theory if you have not consulted at least 10 primary sources in articles or books. A full listing of these references should be presented, using the standard prescribed Harvard Manchester referencing format at the end of the essay (consult your Programme Handbook for Harvard Manchester Style Guide for References). The references should include current journal and book references from the past two or three years.
