Are there obvious objections that the author does not address? Does the author misinterpret the evidence, or overlook important evidence? (I.e., how does this article change or extend our understanding of the Carolingian period?) At the top of the paper, include a bibliographic citation for the reviewing article. (It is fine to copy and paste the citation as Ive supplied it below.) You are welcome to sparingly quote from the article, but you should not count quotations towards the 1100-word minimum. Be sure to explain and comment on any quotations.
