Write a 1,500 word essay responding to the question below: ‘Why should geographers today study the history of their own subject?’ The essay is due in by midday on Friday 19th November, 2021. Submit via the turnitin submission link on the Moodle page for this module. This essay will count 50% towards your final mark for this module. The question asks you to reflect on Block 1 of the module, using the lecture notes, readings, field excursion and tutorial discussions to help develop your ideas and the arguments you want to make. As always, students are also encouraged to go beyond the reading lists if they want to.
