Write a paper discussing Film Proposal.Film proposal As you have learned during the first half of this course, there are several fascinating people and events in African-American history before 1865. There have been times when you may have wanted to know more; perhaps see that persons story or a specific event on film. Now, is your chance to discuss who or what you perceive to be the most important person or event in African-American history before 1865. Using six sources; not any textbooks, Wikipedia, or encyclopedia; write a five-seven page proposal suggesting that the event or persons biography you have chosen be made into a film. Provide the various historical details of your topic into your proposal. Do not generalize because you should show with your historical explanation WHY your topic is important. What angle on your historic topic should be the focus of the movie? What should viewers take away from the movie of your topic? What three themes should a viewer take away from your proposed film? Be as clear and detailed in your paper. Your paper should be doubled spaced with TIMES NEW ROMAN font. Your sources should be cited using the Chicago Manual of Style with footnotes. Items that should be cited include, quotes, statistics, and anything you may have rewritten but still sounds more like the original authors thoughts than your own. Make certain that you use SIX SOURCES within your paper. Sources cannot come from Wikipedia, Sparknotes or such similar sources, nor can your textbook be a source. Do not use encyclopedias, both hardline or electronic. Remember, your paper will go through so I will know what sources you use. Also, remember to make good use of the Writing Center discussion board to address any grammar or writing questions you may have.
