Below are two concerts, one jazz and one blues, watch them in their entirety. As you are watching take notes helping you to analyze and Identify:
What genre/style
Describe instruments being played in the concert. Is there a vocalist?
Do your best to identify the form of the song. (We have only covered 12 bar blues, Ragtime, and 32 bar song form)
Are there improvised solos?
Identify any non-verbal communication happening between musicians.
Try to Identify titles of the songs
