In a 250-word paper analyze the book. Locate and restate the thesis statement of the book. Provide some background on the author of the book and tell why they are qualified to write the book. Describe the primary and secondary sources used by the historian in the book. This assignment is more than a summary of the book. It is an analysis of the historical interpretation used by the historian and a review of the types of primary and secondary sources used in the monograph.
