Dear writer, Discuss (one (1) of the following) questions,(you choose which one you like): I dont need introduction or conclusion: 1. You are working in a high acuity/ICU environment, you are already at capacity and now another patient arrives with an arterial line and a central venous line. You have limited staff and resources. Explore the decision making/discussion re managing this patient with limited resources i.e. ceasing another patients monitoring, sharing a monitoring system, using the retrieval, borrowing from theatre transferring the patient. What are the pros and cons of these decisions. The patient is a 45 year old male with wound sepsis, currently alert and oriented, hypovolaemic with a BP of 95/65. He is normally fit and active with no previous medical or surgical history. OR: 2. As a general registered nurse (from the non acute areas) you have been asked to be a relief staff member in a high acuity area. You arrive on the ward and you are asked to look after a 45 year old male with wound sepsis, currently alert and oriented, hypovolaemic with a BP of 95/65. He is normally fit and active with no previous medical or surgical history. The plan is for this patient to go to theatre for debridement of his wound.
