This is my introduction I need 3 body paragraphs and a conclusion for it. “The grass is not greener on the other side” as Charlie Gordon, an intellectually, disabled man comes to realise. As a young man, he longs for intelligence and acceptance in society, no matter the repercussions to achieve it. Inconsistency, between substantial intellectual improvement and childish emotional stagnation, results in devalued contentment in his life. This essay will argue that one must accept personal competence to grow and live as a holistic self-actualized individual in society. This will be substantiated by firstly referring to Charlie who is feeling isolated from society, secondly, his physical and sexual immaturity, and lastly his acceptance of himself.
