The Situation
You notice a child in your school brings lunches that have small portions, and are not well balanced. Every day the parents send one ounce of dry tuna, four saltine crackers, and a bottle of water. The child is slightly overweight. The parents tell you the child is on a diet made up by them. The parents tell you that they are very concerned with their child’s overly excessive weight. Your school has a lunch program paid for by the parents. You do not participate in the federal food program.
