Throughout her book, Sarah Carr incorporates many quotes into her writing. Choose one of Carr’s quotations as an example and explain why Carr decides to use the quotation when she does. What does the quotation do for her argument, her writing style, and her effect on the reader? And finally, do you find her use of quotations effective overall? Why or why not?
