This essay focuses on Lockes account of the state of nature as he develops it in the Second Treatise. Locke’s Second Treatise of Government should be the ONLY source/reference used. In the first 2 to 3 pages: -Explain carefully the main features of Lockes account of the state of nature. -Explain carefully his account of the main problems or inconveniences that arise in the state of nature. On the remainder of the pages: -Explain carefully a significant objection against some aspect of this account. (How does this objection challenge his account, and what reasons are there for taking it seriously?) -Critically evaluate this objection: Explain how you think Locke can best respond to this objection, and why you think his response is or is not adequate.
