“hook”, and a thesis statement that includes all topics to be discussed in the paper. The thesis must be underlined.
2.This paragraph must be five to seven (5-7) sentences long.
3. There must be three body paragraphs, each seven to nine (7-9) sentences long.
Each of these paragraphs will discuss a topic from the thesis statement. These
paragraphs will contain topic sentences that introduce and control the topic.
Additionally, there will be at least three supporting sentences that provide
explanation/descriiption, etc. of the topic discussed. There must also be clear
transition to the next paragraph/topic. There must be clear transition between paragraphs 2 and 3 and 3 and 4.
4. Your conclusion must consist of five to seven (5-7) sentences. Summarize and
restate the thesis, briefly summarize the paper’s contents, and leave the reader
with a challenging thought/call to action. Do not use phrases line “In
conclusion….”
