Choose a mass casualty topic that has either been in the news OR your EMS service has encountered. (Please be cautiously aware of all regulations and no names or other identifiers that might be prohibited). Critique the response. Discuss minimally the following:
1. What was the incident? How, when, and how many victims were involved.
2. How did EMS respond? Was the response done in correct fashion?
3. If no, then how could the response have been improved?
4. Identify the triage method.
5. Was hospital and EMS response in concert? How could the response have been improved.
6. Overall, what grade would the mass casualty response team received? How could it be improved?
