This video, “Oberon and Titania,” was filmed as part of the series “Shakespeare Lives” (2016), sponsored by Shakespeare’s Globe Theater. It is a modern rewriting of the relationship between Shakespeare’s famous fairy king and queen. Set in a near future, Oberon makes Titania the subject of his latest experiment. She is transported to a virtual world where she engages in a courtship dance with a mysterious figure (representing Nick Bottom).
