You work for an IT consulting company, and your company has been contracted by a client to review a major IT project failure that they have suffered. The project brief for your team is to report on the context of the failure (the nature of the client organisation and the objectives of the IT project), the nature of the failure (what occurred, why it occurred and what were the consequences), how it might have been avoided, and strategies that the client should consider to avoid a similar situation in the future (security consideration, recovery planning and audit planning).
