You have been recently hired at a law firm. They are in the middle of the Bennett Case. Your supervisor asks you to Review Appendix B and get “up to speed” with the rest of the team.
Now that all the pleadings in the Bennett case have been filed, your supervising attorney will be meeting with the attorney for the defendants pursuant to Rule 26 of the federal Rules to Develop a Mutual Discovery Plan. The federal Rules require the parties to identify the subjects on which discovery is needed.
