Log three (3) encounters with the media (e.g. a commercial or show on television, a song, movie, billboard, an ad in a magazine or on the internet, etc.) List the following for each: 1) Describe the image/content and in what context/form it came to your attention. Include a copy of the image. 2) Identify the explicit and implicit messages (i.e. biases, assumptions, assertions, aspirations, etc) that were conveyed or put forth by the medium about love and relationships. 3) Share your reaction to these messages. (e.g. Do you agree/disagree? What feelings, thoughts, or questions come up for you?)
