Provide (in your own words), a brief example of hegemony and how it works.
Hegemony can take a variety of forms outside what was discussed in the lecture. Try and think of different form that I did not bring up.
Explain how that form of hegemony informs your every day life.
Remember that hegemony is formed at the cultural and societal level! In general, school employees, coaches, and similar individuals can NOT create hegemony.
Ways to challenge that form of hegemony. After you have written a discussion post, you must respond to two other students, in a few sentences. Evaluate the form of hegemony your classmate brought up and suggest other ways to challenge that form of hegemony.
