Your task here is to read the material listed below on the Nimrod Theatre Company. These three sources describe the same or similar moments in Australian theatre history, and I am asking you here to consider this material in the light of the historiography we have been reading and discussing in class. You will need to consider questions like: What story is being told? Whose story is being told? (And when; and why?) What are areas/issues of contention between the accounts? What are the discrepancies between the accounts? Where do they agree? What materials are the authors relying on and what weight should we accord these materials?
