Write your personal narrative essay about your careers.This essay is a narrative essay. I decided that I want to write about my careers. Job A, I worked at Popeyes for a very short amount of time. I ended up getting fired because they said ” I move to slow.” I was very emotional and sad because I was 17 with 1 child and my mother was recently killed by a gunshot wound like 3 months prior. I was living with my aunty at this time and I wanted to show them I was responsible enough to get a job and maintaining it to show my family that I could care for my son. Job B I went to school for Certified Nursing Assistant, at this point my family moved to las Vegas and left me in Chicago because I was married. ( which I don’t think that’s a valid reason to dissert me). I was 18 at the time. I was happy but still sad that I couldn’t make enough to provide for my son & no matter how much I worked it was never enough. I felt like so sad because while my two other sister’s are living their best life’s in Vegas without no care in the world and I was left in Chicago all by myself. ( yes, I was married but we were both 18, we were still young adults that needed guidance and help) I was only making like $9.50. I thought at the time that that was alot of money because minimum wage in that state was $7.50 I did that for a year or two. Job C I moved to Arizona and went to Nursing school and I currently have a diploma for my LPN license ( Licensed Practical Nurse) at the age of 21. I am much happier I make triple than what I was making before. I was able to take care of my family without struggling or living paycheck to paycheck. My family since then relocated here as well from Las Vegas, and honesty I just do my thing and I let them do theirs. Now I just turned 24 a couple of days ago & I’m am going back for my RN degree ( hence, this is why i’m taking this English class to begin with) and I feel proud, accomplished and determined .
